Spencer Kirkham is a Certified Personal Trainer with expertise in physical movement across multiple disciplines. He is a Bodyworker of various arts and has devoted over a decade to studying his passion of body and movement medicine.

Spencer has studied under many high profile as well as local professionals - including Wim Hof (the Method,) Gary Strauss (Life Energy Institute,) Tom Lebrun (martial artist,) Navy Seals, MMA Fighters and more. His training has taken him through the arenas of movement technique, body work, martial arts, and energy medicine. In 2011, after fine tuning his own comprehension of these disciplines, Spencer started offering one-on-one training, buddy training, group classes, physical development, and recovery programming.

Beginning his career as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Spencer provided professional health care both in hospitals, and private home settings including hospice and end of life care. Following this certification he became a Certified Personal Trainer in Arizona; after which he received certification as a Wilderness Field Survival Behavioral Health Coach (BHA.) The latter role offered Spencer the experience of supervising troubled youths and adults on 8-to-12-week therapy journeys through the Tonto national Forest of Arizona.

Throughout this time, he further developed his personal training career, honing the skills he acquired as a CNA, and the interpersonal skills gleaned from working as a BHA. At the same time, Spencer began studying massage therapy, while also beginning to study a form of martial arts called Pankration. For more than 10 years he has been studying all of the body’s capabilities that can be enhanced through connecting these different fields of training.

Spencer’s path led to the Upper Valley’s premiere health and fitness center, The River Valley Club (RVC,) where he worked as a Movement Training Specialist. In this position, he refined his skills of meeting clients wherever they needed to be met. He continued to learn how to better understand the specific needs of each client, and spent many years at RVC as a successful movement training specialist and body worker.

In 2018, Spencer launched his own private practice, called Circularity LLC. Circularity offers a wide assortment of dynamic training and physical recovery programs, specifically curated for each client that Spencer meets and works with. Depending on the needs and history of the individual, these uniquely tailored programs can include movement training, weightlifting, body work, joint health, energy medicine, and martial arts; as well as incorporating gymnastics, yoga, Pilates, and myofascial release with tools.

Circularity is the culmination of Spencer’s lifelong pursuit of knowledge, experience, practice, and application. All of his passion, education and training are combined in Circularity - to create the greatest possible balance for his clients.
